Geogrid
Geogrid is a geosynthetic material commonly utilized in earth retention projects. It is made up of high molecular weight, high tenacity multi-filament polyester yarns woven into a stable network under tension. These polyester yarns are reinforced with a PVC coating, making geogrids resistant to biological degradation and various chemicals. Geogrids are primarily used for soil reinforcement purposes, such as retaining walls, steep slopes, embankments, subgrade stabilization, embankments on soft soils, and waste containment.
