Geocell Soil Reinforcement, or Geocells are made of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) that is ultrasonically welded into a honeycomb structure.
They can be used in a number of applications where water erosion and rutting maybe a concern such as utility roads, heavy equipment yards, slopes, green spaces and channels. Geocells are a great cost saving solution for poor native soils or loose sand base projects by reducing the amount of aggregate fill imported to the construction site.
